Darlene,

The 2010 State of Montana Form 2-EC can be found online at http://revenue.mt.gov/content/forbusinesses/tax_software_vendors/TaxSoftwareVendors2010/Form-2EC-MT-Elderly-HO-Renter-Credit.pdf

If you require custom tax advice or assistance completing the form, I always welcome working with new clients. You can also find free tax assistance from the IRS VITA program or AARP's Tax Aide program. I may be volunteering again this year at Kalispell's AARP Tax Aide site.

I am elderly, living on a fixed income. I am in need of assistance.
I am having trouble finding information on the Elderly Homeowners Property Tax application for 2010. I have already paid taxes for the first part of this year.

Could you send me information.

On both computers the C:UsersPublicDocumentsIntuitQuickBooksCompany Files) are Properly Shared and I can access them from either computer .We are both running XP .OS and I can make new Invoices and Estimates on mine and the other computer as well but the older files are shared and the newer ones are not . i.e my estimates stop at Estimate # 2441 ,the other computer stops at 2473 and ones I create now on QB don't show on the other PC .and Vise versa .
Like i said now for some reason our 2 Quickbooks are running independantly even though hers is the Administraters and I am only a user . The Secratary uses it all the time but I only use it once in a while .
 Thanks for replying

Terry,

In order to diagnose this problem, it would be helpful to know if you are receiving any error messages or codes. Check to be sure all the computers have access to the shared Quickbooks data files. Just because the computers are networked and certain resources such as files, folders and printers are shared does not mean that the Quickbooks files you want to access are shared with all computers on the network. I would recommend accessing the Quickbooks data file (probably at C:UsersPublicDocumentsIntuitQuickBooksCompany Files) and be sure the company folder and files contained within are properly shared. Please be aware of any security risks involved with sharing folders. Your computers may also have security software installed that is blocking the sharing. If you can't browse to and view the Quickbooks folders and files (.QBW or .QBA) from the other systems using Windows explorer, neither can Quickbooks. If you are unsure about the risks of sharing resources on a network, I recommend contacting a technician who can properly set this up.

I hope this information is helpful.
